 | The GR20 with Corsica Adventure a local agency | | Corsica Adventure is a trekking company specialising in the organisation of mountain walking holidays on the GR20 in Corsica. They are a local agency based in Ajaccio, Corsica. They propose a whole range of different GR20 versions, from a guided formula to a self-guided formula and anything between 6 to 15 days. For the guided versions, they have a team of fully qualified guides that either live in Corsica, or spend a lot of time here. They have the expertise and local knowledge to really help you enjoy the trek, give you an insight into the Corsican mountains and keep you safe. If you choose the self-guided version, they ensure the reservation of all your nightspots, as well as a full board meal basis, transportation of your main luggage, they give you maps and route notes. There are many French, UK and American trekking tour operators that use the competences of Corsica Aventure as their local agency in Corsica. Carrying the backpacks
You can choose the reduced backpack version - this gives access to your main luggage bag regularly throughout the trek.
Daypack only - this version allows you to walk with a daypack only. You have access every night to your main trek bag, which is carried to each nightspot by mule.
How long does it take?
It is possible to do part of the trek, the South part is from Bavella to Vizzavona in 7 days. Or, the North part from Vizzavona to Asco in 8 days. The integral GR20 is also possible, it takes two weeks!
The guides
The guides are all fully qualified; they hold the International mountain leader qualification. If at the start of the season there is still some snow on the mountains there is always a high mountain guide present for the necessary sections.
